Us with the Queen Mum (impostor) & Colonel SandersWe're back from the Kentucky Derby, and we had a blast! We went down to Louisville on Thursday night, and stayed with our friends Sarah Kate and Jonathan for the weekend. We went down with Lance, Katie and Becky. We had great tickets where we actually got to sit down (no more paddock or infield for us!). We of course had to get all dolled up Derby-style with hats, dresses and suits. Celebrity sitings by the group included The Queen Mum (yes, Katie and Lance saw the real one!), Gene Simmons and Jenny McCarthy.
The thrill of the day was when Jonathan and Dave won $6,100 on a $24 bet (a $1 superfecta box bet) on the seventh race! It's a very rare bet to hit, but it pays big when it hits! Needless to say we were very excited and all had a celebratory beverage (or two!). Fun times!

Living the fine life and coming home winners! Awesome! So you didn't see Joey Fatone & his Dancing With the Stars partner? :) I saw they were there and looked for you in the TV coverage. You ladies look lovely.
